GTM Engineering Academy exists because go-to-market only works when the people, the systems, and the builds run as one machine instead of separate teams that argue. The AI-native build layer of GTM operations, in one place. This is the reference hub for it.
What GTM Engineering is
GTM engineering is the newest specialization inside GTM operations: the build layer that AI made possible. Enrichment that fills its own gaps, outbound that waits for a real signal, workflows that run before anyone opens a ticket. Most GTM work is still done by hand, which is why most of it does not scale. This is where I write down what actually works when you build it instead.
The stance
GTM engineering is what ops looks like when a builder gets the tools. Same goal as operations, own the number, but the output is a working system, not a report.
Think of it as a corner of a larger discipline, not a rival to it. Operations owns the whole revenue system; systems architects the stack it runs on; this hub goes deep on the part that data, AI, and automation now let you build by hand. When the wiring here needs the wider context, the other two hubs carry it.
Why a hub
Most of what exists is scattered: a thread here, a tool tutorial there, tribal knowledge locked in a few practitioners' heads. GTM Engineering Academy pulls it into one place: guides, metrics, the tool stack, articles, and a newsletter, all built by people who do the work.
The rest of the network
This hub is one of three. The other two go just as deep on their own layer:
- GTM Operations Academy: The umbrella discipline that owns the number: forecasting, territory, comp, and how a revenue org runs.
- GTM Systems Academy: The architecture layer beneath it all: CRM and CPQ, the data model, integrations, and governance.
Who writes it
I got tired of watching good GTM ideas die in a backlog. The play was sound, the data was sitting right there, and it still took three weeks and two other teams to ship anything. So I started building the systems myself: Clay tables that enrich on a fall-through, n8n flows that route on a signal, jobs that recover hundreds of thousands of broken records overnight for a few dollars. This site is the running log of that, written for the person who would rather build the automation than wait for it.
